Sculpted Light Studio was established in 2025, but the seed of our business was planted years earlier in a quiet, heartbreaking moment. Long before the idea of a custom laser engraving studio took shape, co-owner Carl Hale sat on the floor, devastated, holding a dying puppy he had fought desperately to save. In that moment of helplessness, his mother sat beside him and offered three words that changed everything: “He was loved.”
In that instant, Carl’s perspective shifted. He realized that the true measure of a life is not its length, but the depth of the love it leaves behind. That truth became the foundation of our studio’s mission. Today, we don’t simply create products — we craft personalized tributes and heirloom pieces that help you honor the people and pets who matter most. Sculpted Light Studio is proudly co-owned by veterans Carl Hale and Donald Daniels, whose partnership was forged through a lifetime of service — first in the U.S. Air Force, and later as trusted federal civil servants.
Carl, a former Air Force medic and retired federal administrator, brings heart, care, and operational excellence to every project. Don, who also served in the Air Force before retiring from federal budget and finance, contributes an unwavering commitment to precision, accountability, and detail.
Together, they channel the discipline, integrity, and high standards of their service into the art of custom engraving.
